Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn how to prevent and manage problems in the water, and you become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if need be.
During the course, you learn to become a better dive buddy by practicing problem-solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows room for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
We always try to plan ahead to avoid problems while scuba diving, now be ready to prevent and manage any emergency situation.
– Be at least 12 years old
*If you are between 10 and 14 years old, you are awarded the Junior Rescue Diver certification
– Be certified to at least (Junior) Advanced Open Water Diver level
– Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within the past 2 years
– Complete the Medical Statement and/or hold a medical certificate
– Online manual
– Your 2-3 half training days with an instructor
